TheoryCY is an independent educational and study aid designed to help users learn Cyprus road signs, driving theory, and related road-safety topics. It is intended to supplement, not replace, official study material, professional driving instruction, or guidance from the competent authorities.
TheoryCY is not an official government application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Cyprus Road Transport Department, the Cyprus Police, the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, or any driving-test authority unless expressly stated otherwise.
We aim to keep the learning material accurate and useful, but road laws, regulations, signs, test procedures, and official guidance may change. TheoryCY does not guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
Users are responsible for checking current official Cyprus legislation, Highway Code material, Road Transport Department information, and instructions from qualified driving professionals when preparing for an official test or making decisions on the road.
Use of TheoryCY does not guarantee that you will pass any official driving theory test, learner examination, practical driving test, or other assessment. Practice questions and mock tests are study tools and should not be treated as predictions of the exact questions that may appear in an official examination.
Do not use TheoryCY in a way that distracts you while driving or operating a vehicle. Always follow current road laws, road signs, traffic signals, police directions, and safe-driving practices. Information displayed in the app must never be used as a substitute for observing actual road conditions.
TheoryCY is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, modify, add, suspend, or remove features or learning material as the app develops.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheoryCY and its developer are not responsible for losses, damages, penalties, failed test results, decisions made on the basis of outdated or incorrect information, service interruptions, device problems, third-party service failures, or other consequences resulting from use of or reliance on the app.
TheoryCY offers optional paid access through in-app purchases.
30 Days Pro provides access to TheoryCY Pro features for 30 days from the applicable purchase date. It does not renew automatically. After the 30-day access period ends, a new purchase is required if you wish to use Pro features again.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time purchase that provides continued access to TheoryCY Pro features, subject to these Terms and the continued availability of TheoryCY. It does not require a recurring payment.
Billing and payment processing are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform through which the purchase is made. TheoryCY does not directly process your payment-card details.
Prices may vary by country, currency, tax, platform, or app-store pricing changes. Refunds, payment disputes, and other billing matters are handled according to the rules and policies of the applicable app store.
Eligible purchases can be restored using the Restore Purchases option in TheoryCY where supported by the applicable app store and account. Restoring a purchase does not extend or restart the original 30-day access period for 30 Days Pro.

The TheoryCY name, branding, software, user interface, written explanations, learning structure, graphics, illustrations, digital artwork, application assets, and other original content are owned by or licensed to TheoryCY's developer and, to the extent protected by applicable law, are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
TheoryCY contains independently created digital illustrations and graphical representations of road signs, road markings, traffic symbols, and related educational material. The digital files, graphical rendering, presentation, arrangement, and other original elements created specifically for TheoryCY may not be copied, extracted, reproduced, republished, redistributed, modified, sold, sublicensed, or incorporated into another application, website, publication, database, educational product, or commercial product without prior written permission from TheoryCY's developer, except where such use is permitted by applicable law.
This restriction includes extracting or copying TheoryCY artwork or other application assets from the app package, application files, website, screenshots, repositories, or other distribution formats for reuse in another product or service.
Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TheoryCY and its content for their own learning and study purposes. Use of the app does not transfer ownership of TheoryCY's software, artwork, graphics, written material, or other intellectual property to the user.
Traffic signs, road markings, symbols, legal requirements, official meanings, regulations, and other official material depicted or referred to within TheoryCY may be based on or correspond to signs and requirements used by public authorities. TheoryCY does not claim ownership of the underlying official traffic-sign designs, legal rules, official symbols, regulations, or their official meanings.
Any copyright or other intellectual-property rights claimed by TheoryCY relate only to TheoryCY's own protectable original material, including its independently created digital artwork and files, graphical execution, written content, software, interface, presentation, arrangement, and other original elements. Third-party names, trademarks, official materials, and other third-party intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners where applicable.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated when TheoryCY, applicable law, or platform requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of TheoryCY after an update means the latest terms apply to your use of the app.
